What we collect

  • Account info: email and authentication identifiers from your sign-in provider.
  • Learning data: lessons completed, progress, and answers you submit while practicing.
  • Audio: short voice recordings you submit for pronunciation feedback. Recordings are processed to score your pronunciation and may be retained to improve the Service.
  • Billing: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device: standard logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and product analytics events.

How we use it

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Personalize your learning path.
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Communicate about your account and changes to the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We share limited data with vendors that help us operate the Service, including:

  • Supabase (authentication, database, storage)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • Vercel (hosting)
  • PostHog (product analytics)
  • AI providers used to score pronunciation and generate content

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for third-party advertising.

Your choices

  • Access, correct, or delete your account data on request.
  • Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.
  • If you are in the EEA, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA, including the right to request a copy of your data and to lodge a complaint with a regulator.

Retention

We keep account and learning data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
